The Coast's Best of Music reader's poll results were announced today. I got Best Music Photographer for the second year in a row.
Also, Bloodbath, my horror movie soundtrack band, won 3rd for Best Hijinks and 3rd Best Cover Band!

I'm having a one night only exhibition at the Seahorse here in Halifax on Mar 4th from 8-12pm. There will be plenty of live music on hand too! So swing on by for a drink, to gab, to shamelessly hit on me, etc.

I won Photographer of the Year at the 2008 ECMAs last weekend!!! Thanks to all the artists and managers who work with me. If I didn't have bands to shoot, there'd be nothing to vote for.
The folks I work with had 29 nominations and won 11 awards. Congrats to all of you!!!!!!

The East Coast Music Association's Music Award Nominations came out today. I'm happy to say that 14 groups/artists I've worked with got nominated for a total of 29 nominations!!!! Congrats gang!!!

I won Visual Artist of the Year again at the Music Nova Scotia Awards this past weekend!!! I had so much fun! If anyone found my battered liver back in Liverpool please ship it on over to me.
I also got 1st Runner Up for Best Photographer in Halifax in The Coast's Best of Halifax Reader's Poll. It's been an awesome week.

Nova Scotia Music Week starts this Thursday. If you're gonna be there, I'll be having a photo exhibition at WhitePoint from Fri-Sun. I'll be speaking on a panel too.
WhitePoint is absolutely beautiful!!! I can't wait to get to my cabin, crack a beer and watch the bunnies hop around.

The Halifax Pop Explosion just ended. Throughout the week I had a solo photo exhibition, chaired a talk on Graphic Design and shot bands for 5 days straight. An awesome week!!!!

The Music Nova Scotia award nominations were anounced this week and I'm up for Visual Artist of the Year again. I won last year. Wish me luck for a repeat.

at Argyle Fine Art Gallery (1869 Upper Water St.)

Check it out... I won BEST LOCAL MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER at The Coast's Best of Music awards. The actual award is an old 8 Track... pretty damn cool huh? After the awards a big o'le crowd of us got smashed and did karaoke. I sang Add it up by the Violent Femmes.
